Your statutory rights under South African law are not affected. Depending on the transaction, these may include a cooling-off right for online purchases under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, and the right to return defective goods under the Consumer Protection Act.

Every piece is inspected in Johannesburg before final delivery. If a piece arrives damaged, differs materially from its description, or is defective, contact us promptly and we will arrange inspection, return and a repair, replacement or refund as the law requires.

Change-of-mind returns must be in the condition delivered: unworn, with every tag, seal, sticker, box and document included. Return delivery and insurance arrangements will be confirmed in writing.

Manufacturer warranties are not promised by Maison Monde. Where a new piece comes with a dated manufacturer warranty card, that warranty is the manufacturer's. Pre-owned pieces, and pieces without papers, carry no manufacturer warranty unless documented evidence is supplied with the piece.
