One clear charge
Checkout shows a single line: Shipping & Secure Delivery. It combines the international courier, the domestic courier, handling, and protective packaging and insurance where applicable. It is charged separately from the product and is never complimentary.
Duties and VAT
Import duties depend on the exact item and its tariff classification; import VAT is 15% of the SARS added tax value. Both are shown separately at checkout and collected upfront, so your parcel clears customs without a payment on delivery — we never apply a single universal percentage. Treatment is confirmed with our customs broker and accountant.
Insurance
Insurance eligibility depends on the item, its value and the carrier, and is confirmed per order. We do not guarantee cover until it is confirmed in writing.
